# Opening EEGLAB # Opening EEGLAB
Open Matlab and change your Current folder to our pipeline root directory by clicking on the folder you wish to change to. Note that analysis, remote_archive, and remote_work are in the file explorer on the left not under another folder in a hierarchy .
In the **Command Window** type `eeg_init_path` or run pipeline_path.m from the file explorer by right clicking. In the **Command Window** type `eeg_init_path` or run pipeline_path.m from the file explorer by right clicking.
